TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Palm Grove Cottages – Leisure Resort makes its best efforts to ensure that all the information that appears on its website is accurate. 

These rules may seem harsh but, they have been formulated after some unfortunate experiences; also to safeguard our guests and this establishment.

If there is any aspect that you would like us to clarify or wish to point out as unwarranted, do get in touch with us and we will definitely do our best to understand you.

A copy of these Hotel Policy/House Rules is located on our website and available from Front Desk staff upon request.

 

GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS:
Guests must be 18 years and older. 

Upon check-in all members required to produce a Government approve I.D with a photo.

Please make sure to receive a reservation confirmation via email when you make a reservation.

 

SPECIAL REQUESTS:
We will try our best to accommodate special requests. However, they are all subject to availability. 
Early check-in is offered based on availability.

No Smoking:

Strictly no Smoking in the room. All rooms have balconies that can be used to smoke.

 

For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odour which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture we do not permit smoking tobacco, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, cigars, vape pens, vaping, nicotine cartridges, hookahs, incense, cooking or heating food, candle burning, diffusing of oil or other strong-smelling products in our facility. 
Guests are encouraged to notify Front Desk staff immediately if they smell objectionable odours.   

Please ask Front Desk staff for the location of our Designated Smoking Area. 

We ask that guests refrain from use of strong-smelling items or products that cause the room to be taken out of service due to objectionable odour.  

 

NO-COOKING, COOKING APPLIANCES, COMBUSTIBLES, OR FIREWORKS:

Preparation of food or heating up of food in the rooms by any type of cooking appliances including, but not limited to hot plates, toaster ovens, rice cookers, heating appliance, or any other item intended for cooking or heating up food is strictly prohibited. 

Open fires, flames or cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on hotel property.

The water kettle provided in your room is strictly for heating up of water and water only.

We reserve the right to remove and/or confiscate items or appliances intended for cooking or heating up of food that may be found in a guest room immediately without notice to guests and to charge guests for any costs incurred for taking such action or for any loss or damage caused to the hotel property, premises or property, or to any Hotel guests or third party as a result of your failure to comply with this policy. 

We also reserves the right to ask you to leave the hotel and remove your belongings from the room immediately if we shall, in our sole opinion, deem that you have used the hotel room in an irresponsible manner or in a manner that will compromise the safety of, or cause damage and/or harm to the hotel room, the hotel premises, the other hotel guests, our staff, or any other persons or the reputation of Palm Grove Cottages – Leisure Resort, without any compensation and/or any reimbursement to you. 

We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to our room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee,  guest compensation, etc. 


CHECK-OUT TIME: 

Checkout is at 11:00 a.m.  Additional charge, plus tax may apply for late checkout.

 

DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT:
Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.


Guest's Belongings:

Guests are requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out and going to bed.

For the convenience of the Guest, Electronic safety lockers are provided in the room to store any valuables.

If the guests are unable to open the Locker due to incorrect code set by themselves, a Master Key will be needed. This key is handled only by the owner. Last minute requests to open the locker may not be available if the owner isn't at the premises.

Any loss or inconvenience caused to the guest due to unavailability of the Master Key is deeply regretted, Palm Grove Cottages shall not assume liability or responsibility for any losses. Before using the Electronic Locker please make sure it is fully functional.

The Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss / or damage to the Guest's belongings or any other property from either the hotel room or the locker or any other part of the hotel for any cause whatsoever including theft of pilferage.


UNCLAIMED ITEMS: 

Lost & Found items are held for 14 days while we attempt to contact the guest.  If guest contact information is incorrect or not provided and we are unable to contact the guest during the 14 days holding period, the unclaimed item(s) may be discarded. 

Pets:

No pets or strays are allowed in the premises.

 

DAMAGE TO ROOM: 

Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, linen, art work, etc. will be charged of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges.

Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. 

 

ALCOHOL POLICY:
Registered guests of legal age who choose to bring their own alcoholic beverages must consume those in their room. Outside alcohol is not allowed in public areas or the restaurant. 

 

GROUP BOOKINGS:

As a registered guest, you are responsible for behaving in a decent and responsible manner wherein you do not disturb the peace of other guests. Talking loudly, making noise, talking from one room to another, closing door loudly, disturb the peace of other guests, is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of the room, fails to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by Palm Grove Cottages – Leisure Resort for the operation and management of our hotel we reserve the right to admission.

NO PARTY POLICY:
Palm Grove Cottages – Leisure Resort enforces a No Party Policy at all times. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises. In the event of a disturbance, one request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without a refund. Guest(s) is responsible for all persons visiting. 

Non-Registered visitors are only permitted until 10:00 P.M.  If found with unregistered visitor(s) after 10:00 P.M. your stay will be considered a party. Guests should be registered at the time of check-in.

  

VISITORS:   

No visitors are allowed in the guest room. Visitors must notify Front Desk upon their arrival.  Visitors must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times. As a registered guest, you are responsible for your visitor at all times.

CHILDREN: 

Children should be under the supervision of their parents at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattended in the rooms or allow them to roam the hotel property unsupervised. Parents will be held liable for any damages caused by their children at the property. Children 6 and above will be charged an extra fee per day.

ROOM KEYS:
Room keys are issued to the registered guest(s). No room keys will be issued to youth under 18 at any time.

Please return room keys to Front Desk at Check-out. Loss of a room key will levy extra charges.

PARKING AT OWN RISK:
Parking space for vehicle(s) is only upon prior request and limited. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. 

Palm Grove Cottages – Leisure Resort shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property.  If a vehicle is left in the hotel parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. No vehicle washing or repairs on hotel premises. 

Subletting:

Nothing hereinabove shall continue or be deemed to constitute, or create any tenancy or subletting, or any other right to interact in the hotel premises or any part of portion thereof, in favour of any Guest or resident or visitor, and the Management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute possession of the whole hotel premises.

 

Photographs and Videos:

Photographs and videos taken in the hotel for commercial purposes is illegal.

If you wish to take photographs, videos in any form for commercial purposes, written permission will have to be obtained from the management.

 

RESERVE RIGHT TO ADMITION OR REFUSE SERVICE:

If under any circumstance a guest acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the hotel: an unlawfully possessed firearm; or something, including an explosive or hazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to hotel property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of room, refuses to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by Palm Grove Cottages – Leisure Resort for the operation and management of our hotel we reserve the right to admission. QUIET HOURS:  10:00 p.m. to 9 a.m. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact Front Desk staff immediately.
